But that´s not all! You will also visit Teijo National
Park to enjoy its peaceful lakes, bogs and forests, as
well as historic ironworks villages where traditional
crafts still thrive.

You Travel Coastal Route Itinerary (5 days cycling)
Day 1: Individual arrival to Salo, tour info and
bike rental + fitting.
Day 2: Salo-Kemiönsaari-Dragsfjärd (65km)
Ride through the distinctive countryside and
farmlands of southwestern Finland. A short ferry
ride brings you to Kemiönsaari, the largest of several
islands you are going to visit during the following day.
Day 3: Dragsfjärd-Kasnäs (30km)
A gentle ride to Kasnäs Spa Resort. Have a break at
beautiful Söderlångvik Manor and enjoy the amazing
views of the Archipelago while crossing the Lövö
bridge. Take a ferry to Högsora island enjoy the
authentic cooking of the well-known restaurant
Farmors Cafe (Grandmother’s Cafe).
Day 4: Island of Hiittinen-Rosala (25km) or
day off
A ferry ride takes you to a pleasant day of cycling
at Hiittinen island where You can pay a visit to the
Viking Centre and have a beer at the local brewery -
Rousal Brygghus.
Day 5: Örö Fortress Island
Have a day off from cycling and head to some of
the nearby islands on a boat. A visit to Örö island is
highly recommended (the ferry ride is not included). This former military outpost
is nowadays a popular nature park where you can
stroll for hours on end enjoying the delicate nature
and military heritage.
Day 6: Kasnäs-Dalsbruk-Vestlax-Mathildedal
(59km)
Today you leave the Archipelago National Park and
head to new adventures. A lovely route along quiet
country roads following the sea
ending at Mathildedal.
This early industrial community and ironworks is
nowadays a very fashionable summer resort that
beautifully combines the past and the present.
Day 7: Teijo National Park + Mathildedal –
Teijo – Salo (45km)
Put on your trekking shoes and head to a walk in
the Teijo National Park - a microcosm of Finnish
forest and Lappish landscapes. The last stage of our
cycling tour strolls along quiet roads through forests
and countryside back to Salo where you can reward
yourself with a long cool drink.
